List Updates

So I've been tinkering with my Space Wolves list, and I've cut some more fat and added some land speeders. I realized that the one bloated GH squad didn't really do much besides die, and if I had to use them it was pretty much too late to make a difference anyway. Ergo, I've eliminated them and their Rhino. I've also scratched the Wolf Guard, because when I roll leadership it's either so bad they don't make a difference, or whatever shoots or hits them has wiped them out.

My new list is as follows:
Bjorn with a Plasma Cannon
Rune Priest - Living Lightning and Storm Caller, w/Chooser of the Slain
2xDreadnoughts with TLLascannons and heavy flamers
3xWolf Guard(2xw/Combi-plasma, 1xw/Combi-melta and power fist)
5xGrey hunters w/1xmeltagun in a LasPlas Razorback
5xGrey hunters w/1xmeltagun in a LasPlas Razorback
5xGrey hunters w/1xFlamer
5xGrey hunters w/1xFlamer
6xLong fangs w/5xMissile launchers, in a TLLC Razorback
6xLong fangs w/5xMissile launchers, in a TLLC Razorback
6xLong fangs w/5xMissile launchers, in a TLLC Razorback
Wolf Scout Squad w/ Meltagun
Land Speeder w/ Multi-Melta and Heavy Flamer
Land Speeder w/ Multi-Melta and Heavy Flamer

And there you have it. More shooting, more optimization. One transport for everyone. The Speeders can block if need be, and I can threaten heavier tanks when needed with them while turbo-boosting and contesting objectives if needed. The scouts will be a great asset against IG or other shooty armies by coming in the backfield and taking out a key piece of artillery or a nasty tank that's hanging back. All in all this new list has more shooting and adds more tools for me to complete a mission while the scouts pretty much ensure I can go toe-to-toe with any shooty list out there.

Another list I've been working on that has worked well when I've used it is as follows:
Wolf Lord on Thunderwolf w/ Wolf Tooth Necklace, Runic Armor, Storm Shield, Wolf Claw, Saga of the Bear
3xThunderwolf Cavalry w/ Storm Shield/Storm Shield and Hammer/Basic
Rune Priest - Living Lightning and Storm Caller, w/Chooser of the Slain
3xWolf Guard(Combi-melta and power fist)
8xGrey hunters w/1xmeltagun, Banner, and Wulfen in a Rhino
8xGrey hunters w/1xmeltagun, Banner, and Wulfen in a Rhino
7xGrey hunters w/1xmeltagun, Banner, and Wulfen in a Rhino
5xGrey hunters w/1xFlamer
6xLong fangs w/5xMissile launchers, in a TLLC Razorback
6xLong fangs w/5xMissile launchers, in a TLLC Razorback
6xLong fangs w/5xMissile launchers, in a TLLC Razorback

This is a really well-rounded list and very fun to play. My wolves look great (I must admit), and are really fun to field. Long fangs faceroll the shooting while the wolves move up along with the Rhinos with a 5 up cover save. The razorbacks can either join the convoy or split off on their own for some side shots and contesting. I try and use the TWC as countercharge and area denial, but they usually wind up soaking up tons of fire, enabling everything else to live and shoot back or get closer. When this happens they wind up just charging straight in once I make sure they have Nerd Aggro. A variant of this list nearly tabled Boxersaint due to lucky positioning of Rhinos (but he would have shot at the troop transports anyway so I don't see an issue. What now?) The above list won last night in a 2v1 despite two rounds of me not killing anything and rolling horribly. Once again, my first game of the day curse exists. Anyway, I'll be playing this list a little more and may take it to a tournament or two if it continues to do well.

Tomorrow I'll be taking my Purifier Grey Knights list to test out. Here's the list:
Crowe
Vindicare Assassain
Techmarine w/PsychoBROKE grenades, Rad Grenades, Warding Stave
Dreadnought w/ TL Autocannons and Psybolt ammo
Dreadnought w/ TL Autocannons and Psybolt ammo
Dreadnought w/ TL Autocannons and Psybolt ammo
9xPurifiers w/6 Halberds, 2 Psycannons, and a MC Warding Stave in a Rhino (Techmarine in here)
6xPurifiers w/3 Halberds, 2 Psycannons, and a Warding Stave in a Rhino
5xPurifiers w/2 Halberds, 2 Psycannons, and a Warding Stave in a Rhino
5xPurifiers w/2 Halberds, 2 Psycannons, and a Warding Stave in a Rhino
5x Strike Squad with a Psycannon and Daemon Hammer in a Rhino (Crowe takes this Rhino)

This list can do very well, I think, and I'll be testing it tomorrow night against two guys who I don't normally play against, so this will be interesting. Results coming up tomorrow for this list. It has potential. I hope they bring a Sanguinor or Mephiston and Crow gets to use Heroic Sacrifice on them. LOLOLOLOLOLOL *Facerolls*

Stormcrow out.
